To provide accurate and accessible support to enable neurodiverse people to learn how to budget and develop employment skills to enable them to live a more independent life.
A future where people with a hidden (invisible) disability are empowered to lead independent lives.
Accessible – Practical Matters prides itself on providing an accessible, high-quality service to all regardless of their situation or personal circumstances.
Open, transparent and honest – We value our clients and want to make a positive difference to their lives, therefore we base our service on being open, transparent and honest. Then our clients can feel comfortable, respected, valued and listened to.
People centric – As part of our bespoke service we encourage everyone to talk to us about the work we do, what works for them and what doesn’t so that we can properly meet their requirements.
Impartial – As a Community Interest Company we work independently to help people to live a better, more independent life and help them to achieve their goals.
Professional – We pride ourselves in giving the best possible service. We want everyone to come away with a better outlook of life than they started with.
Collaborative – We believe that working with other organisations improves participants lives. By taking a more holistic approach, our participants feel more supported and capable of moving forward in their quest to gain greater independence.
Our vision, mission and values are all based on providing the best support for our neurodivergent participants, putting them at the centre of what we do and working to their needs. We want our participants to have the best opportunities in life and achieve this by providing a high-quality employment programme to help them gain and keep meaningful employment and support them to reduce or remove additional barriers that are impacting their ability to move towards employment.
